Beggs Berry World is a family owned business that takes experience to new levels of producing the sweetest and most delicious fruits and vegetables from the best farm lands in southeast Missouri. Beggs uses that experience gained over many years of responsible and reliable farming methods that yield prize crops year after year. Customers come from miles around all during the year to take home strawberries, melons, sweet corn, tomatoes, fresh lettuce, pumpkins, ice cream and desserts made in Cathy Beggs kitchen.

The fruits and vegetables available will vary throughout the growing season. Generally, we will have our sweet strawberries March to June, delicious cantaloupes and watermelons July and August, as well as various other produce that we grow.

FARM MARKET

Beggs Berry World started in 1987 as a small farm market in Benton, Missouri on a 150 acre piece of land that Cameron's maternal grandfather purchased in 1950. In 1951, sales from seven acres of cantaloupes paid for the entire farm. In 1987 the farm became Cameron's when he split out of the family farm to raise watermelons, cantaloupes and pumpkins on his own. Around 1994 was when Cameron began raising strawberries and it was then that he decided on the name "Beggs Berry World". It was another ten years before he began raising sweet corn, which is now one of his biggest sellers.

In the past few years, Cameron has also began a few other projects to raise more fruits for his customers. Beggs Berry World now has blueberry bushes, blackberry vines and 550 peach trees of different varieties.

Though it all started with watermelons, cantaloupes and pumpkins, Beggs Berry World now offers dozens of different fruits and vegetables, such as:
